Who We Are
Handmade Digital was founded by Mark Mandel in December 2008.
Mark has gained extensive online experience working in a variety of business sectors over a ten year period, primarily as a senior website developer.
Through his time spent with digital agencies, international sports administrators, banks and online retailers - Mark has gained a deep understanding of what works online and how an enterprise can leverage maximum benefit from their web presence.
He posseses a diverse blend of technical and creative talents spanning online strategy, user experience, programming, database, graphic & interface design.
He spent five years with the International Tennis Federation in London, conceiving online strategy, designing graphic content & user experience and building the organisation's online systems - most notably a custom Content Management System, a tournament entry system and the Davis Cup website.
Since coming to Australia in 2006 he worked in banking, ecommerce and business software development. Mark spent eighteen months with the leading Sydney agency Devotion, specialising in building highly usable CMS driven websites for a wide variety of clients.
Mark divides his time between Sydney and Bellingen - close to Coffs Harbour.
